Writing Notes with Ease:
Support for Sensitive Therapists to Tackle the
Backlog & Create a Sustainable System
for the Future
Don't let the backlog of notes pile up one more day. It's time to ease your overwhelm and get caught up on notes!
Welcome to being a Sensitive Therapist, where you're more overwhelmed by paperwork than the clinical work itself! Writing notes feels hard because:
- You have no energy for notes in between sessions.
- Documentation feels like reliving the session and you dread having to feel deeply all over again.
- You need time to reflect and let the session marinate, but your schedule leaves no time for long breaks.
- Translating the heart-centered work of therapy into clinical jargon feels IMPOSSIBLE.
- Honestly, you'd rather hang out with your family, fur baby, or even stare at the ceiling than write notes!
You feel overwhelmed, embarrassed, and suffocated by your growing pile of notes.
- You have a huge backlog of notes that go back weeks or months.
- You feel overwhelmed and hopeless. You’re drowning in paperwork and don’t know what to do.
- You’re frozen in fear with consistent worry about what your colleagues will think, fear of being audited, and overwhelmed with the possibility that you will never feel caught up.
- You spend more time procrastinating and scrolling through social media than actually writing notes.
- When you finally write the note, it’s a long, grueling process that takes anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes per note and leaves you feeling drained and depleted.
You would do anything to hit RESET and finally catch up on notes.
When you imagine your life, you envision:
- Less overwhelm and more control of your documentation process.
- Having a more balanced and structured process for writing notes.
- Clarity around what note writing schedule works best for you.
- A smaller (if not nonexistent) backlog of notes.
Tackle the Backlog and Catch up on Notes!
Catching up on documentation is 100% within your reach! You just need a little support. Imagine...
- Space to privately reflect on the barriers that are holding you back from writing notes.
- A detailed, step-by-step process to not just learn how to tackle your backlog but actually catch up on notes and create a sustainable system for the future!

What Past Students are Saying...
Your Sensitive Supporters
April Snow, LMFT
April is a psychotherapist, consultant, and author in
California inspiring Sensitive Therapists to think outside the box to create sustainable practices.
She relieves stress with organization and loves creating order out of chaos. In her various managerial roles over the past 15 years including the admin manager for a quickly growing non-profit counseling center, she has created the systems needed for everything to run smoothly.
Although she is very conscientious, there was a time when April was months behind on notes, but for the past few years has consistently finished her notes every day and can now write a note in under 5 minutes.
Liz Gray, LCSW, RPT
Liz is a Chicago-based psychotherapist, consultant, and coach who helps Sensitive Therapists organize their physical, mental, and emotional spaces while working through barriers to success.
Nicknamed the "Organization Queen," Liz is happiest color-coding spreadsheets, creating folders and binders, and helping therapists reset their systems to decrease overwhelm.
Having worked in many environments such as schools, agencies, group, and private practice, Liz understands what it feels like to have no energy after 8-10 hour workdays. Previously having to decide if she would rather eat, sleep, or write notes, she is happily caught up on notes and has time to eat and sleep as well!

Frequently Asked Questions
1) How long do I have access to the course materials?
FOREVER! Once you purchase the self-paced course, you will have access indefinitely. Are you busy that you have to work through the materials at a snail's pace? No problem. Want to repeat the exercises multiple times? Go for it! The best part is... when we add new materials, you will get immediate access to the updates!
(2) What makes this program different from other similar programs?
As HSTs ourselves, we understand the nuances and intricacies of our heart-centered work that makes it so difficult to translate into words. We carefully crafted our offering with HSTs in mind.
(3) Will this course provide training on documentation standards for being audited or subpoenaed?
Although we are happy to provide resources for determining medical necessity (such as Zur Institute's Record Keeping Course), the focus of the course is more about the process of writing notes and finding a sustainable system that works for you. When in doubt, check the requirements of your state's licensing board, your liability insurance, and your insurance contracts (if applicable).
